You can become a Drag Racing team owner with a fantasy budget of $8,000,000. Test your skills by assembling the highest scoring team of 8 NHRA drivers from TOP FUEL, FUNNY CAR, PRO STOCK, or PRO STOCK BIKE. See the GoFantasy Drivers page for driver values.

For under $5.00 per race you can become a Fantasy Drag Racing team owner. You will race head to head against other team owners as you attempt to draft the drivers who will score the most points during upcoming NHRA national meets. You will attempt to win as many races as possible on your way to winning the GoFDR Championship. There will be up to $13,000* up for grabs along the way.

You will have a fantasy budget of $8,000,000 to draft your team of 8 NHRA drivers from Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Bike. All drivers have different values (see GoFDR drivers page). You may choose any combination of 8 drivers as long as you stay within your budget. You will score points just as your drivers do in actual NHRA competition. At the end of each race we will add up the points earned by all eight of your drivers. The team owner who scores the most points wins.

As the races progress you may keep or trade as many drivers as you like as long as you stay within the $8,000,000 budget. During the 10 race Championship Series we will drop your 2 lowest scores. The team owner with the most points at the end of the series WINS.

We have made every effort to make our race as realistic as possible. The entry fee is real, the purses are real, the drivers are real and the competition is intense. You just don't need millions of $$$$ to go racing! Refer to the rule book for complete details.

ENTRY FEE

Entrance fee is normally $59.95 per team but our Fall Special of $49.95 can be charged to Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover. This is a one time fee for the entire 10 race series. There will be no additional charges for access to results or to trade drivers on your team. Additional teams may be purchased for the discounted price of $39.95.

HISTORY OF GOFANTASYDRAGRACING

Work began on GoFDR back in 2000. Our original version of the game was introduced in 2001. Our first two years of racing were run on a race-by-race format with a $1,000 payout every race -- but no Championship Series. In 2003 and 2004 we introduced separate Spring and Fall Championship Series. This will again be our format for 2008, except that we've increased 1st-place prize money for each race to a minimum of $100.00 regardless of the number of entries!
