The Father's Day weekend was something to remember for drag racing legend-turned-team-owner, Don "The Snake" Prudhomme. While two of the three Snake Racing drivers were tallying up victories in Columbus, Ohio, rookie GoFDR player Ken Dahl slithered his own way to the top spot.

Dahl managed to win with a total score of 630 points, boosted by the 50-point pre-qualifying bonus, one winner and two runner-ups. Dahl was closely pursued by Jim Pugh and John Ward, with 624 and 622 points respectively. Last race winner Tony Love landed the 4th position and rookie Dave Ellison finished out the top-five.

After three straight weeks of winning scores of 700 points or higher (and at least two winners on the team), Dahl was able to snake the win this week with just one winner and a meager 630 points. It looks like the minor driver value changes made by our Competition Director last week really had an impact!

We would like to congratulate Ken Dahl on his very first victory here at GoFantasyDragRacing. He was knocking on the door in our last race, scoring a 4th place finish. Improving three positions this week landed him top honors for the Pontiac Excitement Nationals. A very impressive run to say the least.

Our next race will be the Sears Craftsman Nationals in Madison, IL on June 27th - June 30th. Bikes will run at this event. The deadline for PreSelection Bonus will be Friday June 28th at 1:45PM(PT) - 4:45PM(ET). The Final deadline for team selection will be Sunday June 30th at 8:00AM(PT) - 11:00AM(ET).
